THE ROYAL AMBASSADOR PLEDGEAs a Royal Ambassador I will do my best: to become a well-informed, responsible follower of Christ; to have a Christ-like concern for all people; to learn how to carry the message of Christ around the world; to work with others in sharing Christ; and to keep myself clean and healthy in mind and body.

RA’s has a long and strong history at Meansville Baptist Church. Many volunteers have assumed leadership roles in this program and many boys have been mentored and trained in the art of growing into Christian manhood. The character building traits taught through lessons, activities, and scripture memory are here to give our young men what they need to grow into productive Christian men, husbands, fathers, and citizens. At Meansville, we have a burden for the positive spiritual development of our children.
We welcome and invite all boys in our community in grades 1 – 6 to visit us and take part in a time of Bible study, missionary stories, personal reflection, and fun. We meet on Sunday nights at 6:00pm.
***The following is taken from the www.royalambassadors.org website and more thoroughly and effectively describes the goals and roles of RA’s. Know the BenefitsRoyal Ambassadors reaches boys for Christ and leads them to become Ambassadors for Christ through commitments (developing biblical character) and virtues (living the on-mission lifestyle of the Royal Ambassador Pledge). RAs is a Bible-centered, church-related, mission education organization for boys in first through sixth grades, sponsored by the North American Mission Board, an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention. Royal Ambassadors:
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come. Now everything is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ; certain that God is appealing through us, we plead on Christ's behalf, 'Be reconciled to God.'" (2 Cor. 5:17-20, HCSB)
